3-30

This week, well when someone told me that the mission was hard, I wish I would have known about this. What I am talking about is that on Monday, we ran out of gas. This means that we have had cold showers all weak long. Just to tell you that is not that fun. But just thinking about we are going to have gas this week so that will be good. We were hoping to have got it today but the people didn’t come. So we are shooting to get it tomorrow. But no worries, I am just thinking that I am in a pool, lol. Okay speaking of water, our luck we ran out of that this week, since here we buy drinkable water. But we got that on Saturday luckily that is a lot harder to live without. Haha. But nah the mission is really awesome and I am liking my new area. This past week we had splits with members. I went with Bro. Javier, it was way fun, teaching with him. I like how this ward just helps us so much. So my week was a blast, with cold water lol.
So I hope you are all having a killer time

Hey this week has been just a bunch of fun. First off last week we bought a=soccer ball, for the house so we can play in the mornings. This is a lot=harder when the teams are only with two players on both teams. But it is=a lot more fun, and fast, so I think its all good. On Wednesday, we had =our zone conference. This was the first that I wasn=E2=80=99t really bore=d. I think it could have to do with me understanding a lot more, or who k=nows. Lol. But for lunch we were all given McDonalds, which was awesome. ==20On Saturday was another reason why it was such a good week. Since our inves=tigator Catalina was baptized on Saturday. On Friday we found out that sh=e was going to leave Saturday night for Guadalajara, so she asked if we c=ould do the baptism in the morning. Of course by the time we found out ab=out this, it was way to late to call anybody. So we went to the ward miss=ion leaders house in the morning, then to the bishop right after that. We=were definently working hard this morning. But we got it all done, even =the interview for her husband. So that he could baptize his wife. So at n=oon was her baptism, since we changed the time of it, it was just us four=missionaries and her family and the bishop. Since she didn=E2=80=99t mak=e it back before church on Sunday, we are going to do the confirmation ne=xt week. Also on Sunday, was the birthday of Bro Contreras. So we went th=ere and had a little party, it so funny they don=E2=80=99t eat cake, but =they still bought a cake so that we four could eat it. It was fun, we all=gave some little things. So like I said this week was just a bunch of fu=n. I hope you all had a blast. Love ya elder heffron

so this week was the week that i bought my first pair of shoes here in mexico. i got some dockers believe it or not. they are pretty sweet, first ones with out laces. ya i am going old man style, slip ons. haha. so also on monday we played some pool, with a member it was way fun since there were five of us, we all had three balls, but the game was that you wanted to keep your three balls on the table. it got way fun sice we all told the other people to go for the other people balls. it was just way fun. oh yeah and also we ate at kfc on monday, you would think it would be one of the last places that i would eat again, but i would have to say that it was way good, the bbq sauce here has a kick, so it made it a little interesting. talking about bbq i also ate at a rib restaurant this week which was also a little spicy. but still delicious. so on saturday we went looking for a recent convert, since for all the recent converts from last year, my mission president and his wife wrote them a letter. so we went looking for her to give her, her letter. the trip was that she was baptixed in another ward, so no one knew her. the funny thing is taht we found out that she lives only like five houses from the bishop. ya i know funny right. so we talked to her and she came to church with us on sunday. and since she has some questions since she hasnt gone to church for awhile we are going to have a home evening with the bishop tonight. so i will have to tell you all about it next week. also just to give you guys an insight on my time at home, last night i made fackrell a tuna sandwhich with his tuna of course. but see his comp wanted a sandwhich and he told me that he will switch me a sandwhich with nutella, ( just to tell you i love nutella) so i said sure. see placencia (fackrells companion) thought that it was mine but its all good. and who said being nice doesnt pay. loloh also just to tell you yesterday i saw a kid, he was on one bike and in his hand was another bike. and i thought he has two bikes, and we have none. so we just kept on walking. it was just a funny moment.watching a kid with two bikes pass us.
so until next week

Last week I wrote a little about transfers, but since I didn’t have tons of time because of the transfers I will give you a better update. So at two in the morning we got a call, but it was a false alarm. It was two elders travelling home, and they were way to tired to stay in the bus. So they came and crashed at our house. So around five I woke up and I said sweet we are in the clear since we didn’t get a call, why did I say something. Just then the phone rang. See oh just to tell you we all slept in the same room, and so they just called cope´s phone, and he was next to me, then left the room. So I knew something was up, especially when he came up with a paper. We found out that all three companionships had changes, somehow fackrell and I are both in the same house again, serving in the same ward. I know that is awesome, we will have lived together more time then any other person in our mission probably. So we both got transfers to Zamora, about two hours away from our house. So we went to the bus station at noon, so we thought we would be in Zamora around two thirty. The problem is after around an hour. The bus broke down, it kept overheating yea not the best thing. So we kept moving every five minutes for about five minutes, the bus driver tried this routine all the way till the next bus came by. The problem is that the other bus had people on it too, so yea we stood in this bus for a good hour, not my favourite moment. Lol. But it all ended okay. My new companion is elder sevilla, he is way cool, he has exactly a year more then me. He goes home in a little less then three months now. On Tuesday, we worked hard I mean we worked harder then I have ever done, nah, but seriously we taught thirteen lessons this day and the time just flew by. Actually this whole weeks has flown by way fast. On Wednesday, we helped a family move in the ward to the other side of the ward, since they wanted us to give a blessing on the house, and yea I know what you are thinking don’t make the white kid do that, but I did, I blessed the house, it was sort of funny my comp said to me afterwards. I just got really nervous. Lets see since my comp is the district leader we went to fackrells area to have an interview with their investigator for her baptism. Oh just to tell you in our district is just the four of us me, sevilla, fackrell, placencia. It is pretty tight. So this was a killer week. And just to tell you all, I finally bought my first pair of shoes in my mission. They are a lot nicer then my other ones. Well at least at the end. Lol.So love you allUntil we talk againElder heffron

This week was a week of services. on thursday, we had a service project with fackrell and ballesteros. we cleaned the island in the middle of one of the streets. we swept the road around the island. and we painted the trees with insect repelant paint stuff. well really i only swept, i did alittle with the trees. but i swept so much, that i got blisters on both my hands but dont worry i made sure that the broom got his, it broke during the service, it sounds funny but you should have seen me sweeping with a broken broom. i know you are now picturing it, it was pretty funny. but the most funny part about the service was there was extra of the paint stuff at the end, so the lady told me and fackrell just to pour it slowly around the base of the last tree. And I don’t know what fackrell heard, but next thing I saw was him chucking the stuff right out of the bucket. And just to tell you I was on the other side of the tree, which I first thought that I was going to get it all over me, but luckily somehow I got nothing on me, but that poor sister had it everywhere on her. It was so funny, we made fun of fackrell all day. Another great service that happened was the baptismal service of lety. Yep she finally touched the water it was so cool, she invited some of her friends to enjoy in her special day. There were fifty people there and around ten to fifteen weren’t members so that is way cool that they came. The stake president baptized lety, and my comp did the ordination of the Holy Ghost. Also our other great investigator nadia, we all had written our testimonies down for her. I mean me, my comp and the other four that live in the house with us, lety, the mom of lety, and the sister of lety. Since nadia is the sister in law to lety. It was way cool to give those to her, she was way touched. And we both think that she will get baptized this month, and also her son Ian. So today was transfers and since there was so many new missionaries coming in and tons leaving, almost every companionship had changes. And now I am in Zamora, Michoacan. It is around two hours from my last area. I am way sad that I left just after one transfer, but I remember my first day coming into this area, and thinking really I didn’t want to go to that area. But I was wrong I fell in love with the people of that area, so I know I will do the same here. My new comp, is elder sevilla. He is way chill, he only has three months left in his mission so I know we are going to give him the best three months of his mission. So he can go home happier then ever.So have a great weekLoveElder heffron
