Merry Christmas to all, hope everyone had a great Christmas this past week, I know I did, I mean first here in Mexico, they celebrate more Christmas eve, a little bit more than Christmas, so Christmas eve the dinner is big and everyone wants to invite us to eat so yea we ate four times on the 24th haha, but o well, I did throw up afterwards haha, but the food was still great. Lol. So o yea, on the 23rd we had a Christmas conference all the way in Morelia, so we left from our house at six in the morning and we didn’t get back till after ten, so yeah total the day out of my area, lol, and when we got home we still did the baptismal interviews for Cristobal and Yesenia, but they didn’t get baptized this week, since he is a taxi driver he had to go and take someone to Guadalajara, yea that is a journey to do so he did not make it in time. So we are shooting to do it this week, with another teenager Servando. So yeah the conference was great we did a gift change and we sang Christmas carols and all. Oh yeah also we went to an American buffet so yeah you know we all ate a ton, I ate four plates of food with desert, oh yeah I even had some turkey and real stake, I haven’t had that forever. Haha. So Christmas was sweet I mean you know with the phone call and all chit chating with the good old fam is always grat I cant believe that this is my third phone call just one more. But it was great to talk with all of you love all of you. Have a happy new year.

Merry Christmas everyone, hope everyone will have a great Christmas, I know I will. Today there were changes in the mission, but me and my companion have a lot of luck, we are staying together for another change, that will make it three changes. So that is pretty cool, I have never had the same companion for more than two changes. So this is going to be good, we have a lot of people that are preparing to be baptized so it will be great to see them all enter the waters of baptism. Sorry I don’t have a lot of time since today isn’t our p day, just on here to write ya and tell ya about Christmas and the phone calls. Hello, this week was a great week. Lets see this past Thursday we had a conference all the way in Zamora, which just to tell you is five hours on bus, and since the conference was at eight, we left here in apatzingan for Uruapan Wednesday at night, and stayed there and left from there five oclock in the morning to get to the conference on time. But the conference was with President de Hoyos and I wont lie this conference was so cool. We talked about a lot of sweet things and I learned so many things. But above that is the spirit was so cool there. It was a good conference totally worth the ten hours of traveling to get there. Lol. Also yesterday was the first stake conference in the stake of Uruapan. And that was cool to go to and we went with the members so it was cool, definitely was a lot easier to waste the two hour drive. Lol. I learned a lot from that conference also. But that is about it for me, this past week it was still a killer time in conferences and all but I learned a lot so that is great for me lol.

so this week was a great week, this week we had the luck to go to Uruapan twice lol. Yep we took four buses this week. Yep you know it eight hours traveling, we wasted like one whole day of working in buses. But it is because we had district meeting on Tuesday and then afterwards elder ashton came home with us and worked a half day with us, and then we got up at like six thirty and all and jumped on a bus since on Wednesday we had interviews with the president and that was great and then we went back home and so both days on Tuesday and Wednesday I wasn’t in my area until like five oclock, and so with lunch and all didn’t go to work till like six, yep had lunch at five lol. But the rest of the week was great we had some great lessons and found some sweet people like on Friday when we were walking to a lesson a little girl came by and started talking to us about how her sisters are members less actives of course. But she is like I want to get baptized also. I know you got to love the people with the faith and the work we can see the miracles, the same ones that passed by for paul and aaron and everyone from the bible to the book of mormon. So we are keeping up the faith here, so lets see the neighbors are keeping up the parties, lol. Nah this Friday at night they had a band playing out side their house how lucky it was also outside my house oh yeah and it was at four in the morning till eight so yea we did not sleep that well Friday. Lol. Sunday we had the ward conference and it was cool the whole work is getting ready to help us with the work so we are going to kick some butt here. I hope so. So have a great week love ya all.

So this week just want to tell you all happy thanksgiving. This thanksgiving me and my companion went to the blue bell ice cream store and we ate some ice cream to enjoy thanksgiving. I am really thankful for all of you. I am very grateful for knowing all of you, you have all helped me so much in my path. Also this week my father Elder Harrington should be enjoying some rest, since he has now finished his mission. How fast time has flown I was with him when he only had nine months. I learned a lot from him. So best of luck Harrington.Sorry not really that interesting of a week, but we are planning on having a baptism this coming up Saturday. So next week will be way more cool, baptisms really make the time go by so much better.

So this week was a great week. First off we had divisions with our zone leaders. Which means I was in Uruapan for two days. Yea just to tell you the temperature difference was huge, I was wearing a sweater the entire time I was there. Lol. I have no idea how I will survive next winter in Utah. Lol. I mean there wasn’t even frost in Uruapan lol. But owell. So while I was there I had a killer time with Elder Ashton, I even let him shave my head so yeah now I am more bald then I was before. Lol. But I like it, I now can just role right out of bed with no worries. Lol. I will not have bed hair for a long time.

So this week we were going to have a baptism of Estela, but she got sick and was hospitalized, yeah that hasn’t happened before so I ask if everyone can put her in your prayers I am pretty sure she will be baptized this week. Or exactly when she is better, she is such a trooper and she has so much faith that it is amazing. This week we also received a really cool reference from one of my favorite families here in my area from the sister Blanca, and this kid is so cool his name is Servando and he is really cool, he actually went to the baptism, which unfortunately didn’t happen but instead he went to mutual, so that is sweet, he has actually gone to seminary once now too. Sweet. He is really awesome.

hello everyone out there.
this week was a great week. so on the sad news that i wrote last week we had changes. and me and my comp elder coyotecatl are still together which is cool the trip is that we are all alone her in apatzingan and we have no idea when the president will put more here. but for right now it is only two of us. which is cool since i now have alot of investigators lol.. okay so this week really we spent our time trying to get to know all of our investigators. lol. on thursday here we alaways do divisions with the elders quorum and this weeek my companion was horacio, and also erick, who is my investiagator. yea how cool my investigator went on divisions with me to help talk to the less actives here in this ward. so i am pretty sure taht he will be baptized soon, i hope so.
on friday here we play volleyball as a ward where we invite our investigators to play with us. so we invited estela but she couldnt come but her daughter blanca came with us and we actually bet dinner for saturday and o yeah i won and so on saturday night we went there and had dinner it was sweet. i love the taste of victory lol.
okay and nothing else really cool happened this past week but today we actaully went to the hill here me and my comp and pancho, we left like around eight oclock and we were done by eleven. it was good. and today we ate with estela and we went over the baptismal questions for her interview tomorrow. which i know she is ready so that is going to be cool to see her go into the water of baptism.i am sorry i dont really have to much time to write. but love all of you guys.

So this week was a great week, and a sad week, since we had changes but before we get to that. Lets talk about what i did during the week. Okay I will have to tell you something that I did very embarrassing this week, and I thought I would tell you all this, this past week we had bought some wax you know to wax my hairy legs. Yep I can now say that I know that it hurts. Lol. yeah we did it only to part of my leg but we used all the wax and I wont lie I didn’t want to do it anymore, so I grabbed my razor and trimmed all the rest of my hair. Yeah I thought everyone would love that story. So this week we had divisions again with the zone leaders, it was good we had a great day me and elder ashton. The only trip is that we had to go back to Uruapan, and that is only a two hour bus ride. So yeah I didn’t get to bed till way late, and then we came back the next morning. But at least for breakfast I was able to eat Burger King, I have had better, but we still don’t have that in Apatzingan. So it was still good. Lol.
So today elder medrano went home, he finished his mission. Which is so cool, the only problem is that he had to leave yesterday at eight in the morning to go to Guadalajara, to make it to the offices on time, so he wasn’t able to go to church. Which luckily he had a talk so I was lucky enough to receive it was good, for what I had to work with, getting to know I had the talk Sunday before church and staying up all night helping Elder Vasher packing, since at like one in the morning we found out that Elder Vasher also had changes so we stayed up till like four to get all of his stuff in his suitcases which was a lot since he has four suitcases. I will miss him. He is way cool, but I know we will stay in touch. So the president closed that area, so it leaves me and elder coyotecatl here by ourselves. So now our house is huge. Since we are here alone. Lol.
Oh yeah a little shout out to Jaxson boy today he completes two years old. I remember when he was a little thing and now he is walking around. Man I cant wait to see him, and I bet everyone knows but he will now be an older brother so I cant wait to see his younger sibling which I hope to be a girl. lol. okay love all of ya elder heffron

So this week, was a great week. Lets see on Monday we had interviews with the president to talk to us about the changes in the mission. Which aren’t that many, but enough that he wanted to tell us. We are going to the basics of the rules, since it is really easy either we are going to be obedient or not. But we know if we are obedient we will be able to do miracles here in the lords work so yea we are going to be obedient. Lol. But seriously it is true. The President Jesperson is new and has a lot of great new ideas to make us even better. So that is good. So speaking of a change we now have more assistants that travel for the president. And they go to all the areas and help us be better. And this past Wednesday Elder Merquiadez and elder McKibben, were with us Merquiadez was with me and McKibben was with Vasher. And it was cool having the assistants with us was cool, since they have a lot of ideas how to teach and it is cool to learn from them since there is a reason that they are the assistants so it is good to learn from them. Lol. But we did learn a lot.Sorry that this week there wasn’t that much, but this next weeks will have more since we are expecting baptisms this coming up week.okay

So this week was a very special event here in Apatzingan, since this past week was the celebration of the signing of the Mexican Constitution. And the cool thing was that the signing of the constitution, was done here in Apatzingan, so yea there were a lot of parties and even a parade, which we went to since we knew a lot of people that we knew that walked in the parade, since all the schools walked in it. It was cool they even had people on horses in it poor horses were so tired and overheated by the end.
On Friday we helped the investigators of Elder Vasher and Elder Medrano, make a washing font in their house so they could wash their clothes. Which was cool, I learned how to make cement. And then afterwards we went downtown to see our friend Pancho (its short for francisco) he played for the town in his high school, orchestra thing, and they sounded great actually they were the best there. But it was cool to support the members.Speaking of musical talent, this Sunday was our primary program yea you know it you just got to love the kids in the primary. But the cool part is that I had my the children of my investigators sing also in the primary. So that was way cool of them, it is funny since they are being the examples to their parents.But it was a great week here in Apatzingan and I hope for you all also.

So this week was a great week, for great news there weren’t changes in my house. Which is great since we really think that elder vasher was about to leave and I wont lie I am glad that we are all still here together like a happy family. Speaking of happy families so my investigators kids went to church again, without her, and they are going to act in the primary activity, and since they aren’t members and their mom didn’t come to church again the primary president talked to me about what they need to wear and all that, its sort of funny since I basically am like a parent to them which is just weird, lol.
So the coolest thing this week is that we found a blue bell store here. Just to tell you I never saw this ice cream in the state of Utah and I found it here in Apatzingan which is funny since this is the smallest city I have been in, in my entire mission. But just to tell you the mint chocolate chip ice cream was amazing. Lol. So we helped out some members go through wood, yeah they had a huge pile of wood that they received so we helped them go through it to find the good wood. And while doing this I saw a frog, but I swear since it didn’t move I thought it was fake, until Eloisa(the member)picked it up and through it at us. Which made her sister freak out. It was cool I got picture of it also. Lol.But I wont lie that is pretty much my weekI know sort of boring this week

This week was awesome, I mean I have now got used to the temperature. And all at the beginning of the week, that now it has started to rain here and now I am freezing. Lol. But really it has been really nice here, this is the smallest city I have been in during the mission, so it is really cool, like all the people know who we are so it is really cool, also I mean Elder Vasher has been here for over six months and the kid is huge, he is like a giant lol. So it helps that everyone knows who we are so people already know why we are here.

Well speaking of Elder Vasher last week we went to go and play bball, and man I have found out the hard way that I am out of shape I need to get in better shape, then again I did okay I did score when I was on his team but when I was against him man it was bad. Lol. But I think I will do better if we stay together here in apatzingan, since we will probably play more times, so I will get in better shape and can make more shots, I haven’t played since I was in the mtc, I mean I have played members that really don’t know that much, but against people good haven’t done that in a while lol.So last night we had a family night with some members. And it was going to be a lot more fun, but then it started to rain so we couldn’t really play too much for the game. But it was still okay. I mean we spent a lot of time just chatting and one just had a cute little baby boy, which he is like the coolest he is only four months but he is way cool.

But that was pretty much my whole week I hope everyone had a great week.

So hello, this week was awesomely fast. Lets see I got the phone call last Monday telling me that I got transferred to Apatzingan, Michoacan. Which was coo since they tole me that I didn’t have to go to the offices till five oclock. So that was cool since I was able to go and do everything before and say goodbye. So I went and said goodbye and went and ate with the family of ana one more time. Then I left and went to the offices and I was there until like ten oclock and my cell phone never arrived. Oh yeah that is why I was there. So they put me on a bus to Zamora. And told me I would receive my phone on Tuesday, just to tell you still don’t have it lol, no joke. So I crashed at my old house in Zamora which was cool, and then we went to Uruapan and then from there we took another bus to Apatzingan, yea in total it was like seven hours in a bus. Not fun. But owell. It was cool okay just to tell you my comp is elder coyotecatl, and I live in a house with elder vasher and elder madreno, which is cool, and right when I got there vasher told me not to unpack since we will be changing houses, so just to tell you my clothes were in my suitcase till Friday, yeah sorry mom. But don’t worry now they are hung up. But our house is really pimping, I wont lie we have an air conditioner. Well we need it since this area is the hottest in the mission it is just like Utah. But without thwe breeze. But our house has a real dinning room table, that fits eight people and we have a nice dish cabinet. Yea we don’t want to break that. But I swear I feel like mr deeds. Since we put a table tennis net on the dinning room table so we can play ping pong yea it was awesome. Oh yea and just to tell you we have a closet room, yes we have an extra room that we just use as our closet. That is pretty sweet. Lol. Oh yeah me and my comp sleep in bunk beds. You know why not. Lol.

Okay so since this weekend was general conference we actually spent our whole time in Uruapan, which Hamblin lives there so that was sweet hanging with him the entire time. But back to the conference I learned so much from it it was so cool. I hope you all learned a lot also.Oh yeah and just to tell you all my little sister had her birthday this week on Tuesday, she is now eighteen, I know how scary is that. Lol. And I completed sixteen months on Sunday how cool is that.

So this week I wont lie has gone by so fast, it is so funny how the mission is sometimes. I mean for my comp, elder cardenas, the week went by slow but for me it went by way fast. We were talking about this and he said once you know the area it goes by so much faster. Which is funny since today I have changes and all I am now going back to Michoacán, again but this time Apatianzgan. Which is funny because it is the hottest part in the mission, okay yea I cant see the funny thing about that either except that I want to lose weight so I will be losing a lot by sweating lol. But really it is okay I made some great friends that I will always remember here and I have had some great experiences. I read a paper from Elder Holland yesterday about how we as missionaries, need to make our areas better when we leave then when we come into them. And I can see that this ward has improved a lot, I know that it isn’t about me, I know I am just the tool that is in the hand of God, but it is so cool that I was able to be here to see the changes. I mean this ward has improved a lot since when I got here, they have given more callings to members we have been baptizing more here then before, speaking of which Karina who we baptized two weeks ago, yesterday was announced to be the Second Counselor in the Young Women, so that is way tight. I know she will do great, we were talking to her about going on a mission, since she really wants to go. We will see what happens in three years. But it will be way killer if she goes on a mission
Oh yea we had a zone conference this past week, to get to know are new mission president and all. And he is way cool. And I know he will help us get to the next level so we are going to do more miracles here. I hope so anyway. Lol.

So this week was a great week for us, since this week was the baptism of Karina, the daughter of Ana. See we have been always teaching Ana, since she was inactive for awhile, and her daughter Karina was always going to church with Sis. Ana. So on Thursday we asked her if she would like to be baptized and she told us yes and told us that that morning she was just about to ask her mom, but she forgot so it was very special. I mean the family of Sis Ana is so nice and cool to us I mean we go over there a lot since the Sis Carmen, mother to Ana is a great cook, yea so we stop by you know once or twice a week to talk and teach them and then we are invited to eat some very delicious food. So you know no complaints from me. Lol. But it is so funny, how baptisms just don’t work out that good until the end, since this time my zone leader got sick so he couldn’t you know leave the bathroom so we had to do last minute changes to be able to do the interview and then to get ready for the baptism. But no worries it all worked out very smoothly and she was very excited to be able to be baptized. Which is just so cool, I know she will do great. And on Sunday she was confirmed a member to the church and was given the Holy Ghost, and the Sis. Ana was called as the Relief Society Secretary, so I know she will always be there to help her daughter since Karina is also in Relief Society now.Okay so on Tuesday last week Sis. Ana and Carmen got us Krispy Kreme doughnuts ya ya, man they were good. Lol. Also they gave us some nice ties. Man they are nice.But this was a great week and just to top it off I made me and my comp French toast, okay it wasn’t as good as my moms but hey I tried. Lol.
