This week was awesome. First let me tell you about some sweet things that we did on p-day last week. So me and my comp was told by elder Sosa about a store that sells all American food and drinks so me and my comp went with elder Hamblin and his companion elder Lehman. And it was so cool it was like taking a bus to America. When we stepped inside the store it was so cool, the only trip is that there wasn’t prices on anything so we didn’t know how much everything cost until the end and boy it is expensive. I got a box of fruity pebbles for sixty pesos which is like five bucks, boy that was a rip off but they were so good so I was okay with it. Also we went to get some good old fashion Mtn dew, yea and we found out that every can was eleven pesos, which is way expensive since you can buy coke in a can for like five pesos. But we still bought a twelve pack of Mtn dew, also got cherry Pepsi and cream soda from A&W. yea it was fun. Also after that we found a dairy queen, and you know it we went there and ate a blizzard me and Hamblin actually got mediums so we didn’t feel so bad when we also got a dilly bar, since you cant go to dairy queen without getting a dilly bar. lol
Okay so this week we got two baptismal dates. First one we put with Salvador who is just an awesome investigator that really wants to change his life. And he has accepted everything we have told him. So that is also cool. So he accepted the baptism on August 2. And that was on Wednesday, then we went back on Thursday and he was talking to his youngest daughter who is fifteen years old. And she is going through a hard time now, and he wants her also to listen and he asked her is she would too be baptized with him on the second. So we now have two baptismal dates. And another daughter came back yesterday didn’t get to meet her but we are going over tomorrow to talk to her also.
Okay for some funny news yesterday when we walked through the door of our house after church, a bird flew out of our window. It was so funny everything in our house was trashed so we thought maybe the birds had a fiesta in our house and that bird was drunk off some of our mtn dew, and that is why he was still in the house when we came in, we think all the rest flew out when we were on the stairs outside the door. Lol. But seriously our house has some interesting creatures like cockroaches and today when I woke up I noticed that there was a black widow in the corner of our bedroom. so yea we are outnumbered by these animals lol.
So the pictures this week are of one of our lunch appointments I got kinda bored and made a boat out of my watermelon, I thought it was funny. Also us at dairy queen with elder Hamblin and elder Lehman
