mexico part 2

My first week with elder torres was awesome, I had to train him to the area, but he picked it up way fast, and now we are cruising here, we have taught all of our investigators and we have found some new ones. We don´t have any ready for baptism this week but I am hoping in two weeks we have some. In my area we have a lot of less actives so we are trying to work with them and reactivate them, I like this part really when we have the help of our ward leaders, because some times the members just need some friends, and really we can´t do that part, even though I have made some great friends here I know one day in will be my turn to get that call and leave. Hope that isn´t for awhile. So all and all it has been an awesome time here in mexico and that I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

okay let me first off by saying sorry i didn´t have time to write personal letters really today since we had transfers today. my new companion is elder torres, and he is from Mexico city but the cool thing is he went through the timp temple for the first time also, how neat, so i think we are going to do great, the sad thing is that elder gade who became so close that i was so sad, was transfered also, which really sucked it is funny we grew close so fast, i mean i only lived him for only three months, but he became all my family in mexico i mean i am now the only american in my district i guess i will learn spanish faster, and gade is now in Zamora with a elder from my generation, so they both are going to have fun, he is a great elder, i know i learned alot from elder gade.so also this week i had some sweet experiences with my members since we are preparing to have an activity to give out gifts to all of our members in our ward this week so i will fill you up on that next week. also i was able to set up a christmas tree with one of the less actives in my ward and her family.also yesterday was way tight with the christmas program with the prophet i really enjoyed it.so i hope you enjoy this weeks entry

so this week was thanksgiving it was awesome what i did for ti was me and elder gade made turkeys out of pbj sandwhiches it waws so much fun, this week also we had divisions whsere i was put with a zone leader and we taught ten lessons in one day wow i know that is amazing i think. oh yesterday some people thought i was a mexican since i have tanned so much go figure or until i started to talk and they heard my accent. so also this week we had a sweet activity which was mostly about the birth of christ that my district held for our ward and gade´s ward. it was awesome so all and all my mission is going awesomeso all my love elder heffron

i wont lie nothing really happened this week except i noticed that i have been in mexico for 10 weeks, that i 1/10 of my mission wow. okay so i think i have changed alot here and i think all for the better, since i have lost weight and i am working on being patient so all is good,. i am so glad that i have elder gade in my house çhis example is great for me, he is an awesome missionary and always is in a good mood.

Okay so I am sorry about not writing this last week I don´t know what happened, but that´s okay because really nothing happened out of the ordinary. Okay except we found a sweet investigator well she found us on Sunday. And she has been attending church for the past two months with her boyfriend and she wants to be baptized. So we set a date for Friday so that was last week. So you want to know what missionaries do on Friday nites for fun we baptize people. Well we had her boyfriend do the baptism but it was awesome to finally get a baptism since we havent´had one in about a month in our area, and I can see that our area is now getting better since me and my companion are working great together. So Saturday was awesome also since we were able to watch the cultural event for the mexico city temple. I don´t know if any of you got to see that or the temple dedication of the temple but it was way cool to hear from the prophet again. Now some funny news I tried coconut for the first time, don´t know if tom hanks could really survive off of that for three years in cast away, since they are disgusting I think but that could be just me. Oh also just remembered since we had all those events we were slaking on contacts so I needed 70 on Sunday but luckily I was able to get 101 which is the most I have ever gotten. Okay until next week

so today i have been out for five months where has the time gone, so yesterday was zone conference which is awesome because this time we had 5 zones there which i liked because i got to see my friends. okay and also i got mail, i love mail. okay so the work here is going good alittle slow but we are now trying some things new in our mission and i am hoping that it will work out for the best, so i am sorry that this letter is so short but i only had a second. so love you all and next week will be longer
