Okay so last week i wrote about elder cope´s package and his ipod. So on Monday he finally got his ipod back. It is funny though how he sent the package to get rid of the ipod and he still has it. Also on Monday we all went and played pool, which is always fun. I make alot in like usual just the cue more then the others lol. On Tuesday i swear dominos must love missionaries, since we had our zone conference. And they give each companionship a médium pizza. I mean there had to be like fifty pizzas there. And the best thing this time they were all pepperoni. Because they do have some weird toppings here. Talking about weird things here, we had a huge hail storm on Saturday i mean they were like the size of gumballs. It was unbelievable.So i will talk to you next week.

this week has just been a bunch of fun. Lets start out with that for the superbowl me and cope had a bet, the bet was one egg, yes we bet one egg, and I won. So I received my egg this week, I love the taste of victory. Hehe. Last Monday I had another competition with the sons of lety. We played a few games of pool, me and Obregon vs. them. And luckily Obregon is really good so ya we won. But I do really good when there is pressure like I suck when there isn’t any stakes, but right when there are, it is when I shine. Lol. Last Sunday Nadia came with us to church and she actually set up our next appointment with her for Monday so when we saw her, she was ready with some questions. But the surprising thing is she read from Letys Book of Mormon, and she was already in like the twentieth chapter of Nephi. Ya amazingly, see she had some questions about how Jesus came to the Americas so on Thursday we watched The Testaments, it’s a movie about a little before Christs coming, it is really good, I like it. Back to Monday, cope, and fackrell and their comps. Went downtown Morelia, so that cope could send out a package, (which I took to put my photos in it so I hope that Brittany will get those soon.) but it was way expensive so actually he gave the package to an investigator, which he has done with the same investigator a few times. But on Thursday he found out that his ipod(which was the reason he sent out this package) could not get sent through it, the bad thing is he still hasn’t received his ipod back. Lol, but luckily all of our stuff got sent out. Okay the funniest thing that happened this week was on Wednesday, see me and my comp was home after lunch to grab some things. And during this cope came home. So while I was talking with him I accidentally shut my door, and it was actually locked, ohh yea we don’t have keys to our bedroom door. So that was really bad, but that isn’t why it is funny, see cope thought that he had a key to his. So just to make fun of me, he locked his door, but found out he didn’t have a key to his. So we both were locked out of our rooms. It was very funny.So I hope you all had laugh from this week

Another week has flown by for me. I mean I am now half way through this transfer already and it feels like I just got here.. So lets begin… this week. On Monday was elder fackrell´s birthday so we celebrated by buying lots and lots of pizza. And it was really good since it was dominos and I like dominos. Also we went and all hung out at wal mart. Where we bought a basketball as a house, since we are now going to play basketball in the mornings also, so not just soccer.lol. So on Tuesday we played basketball and we are still playing Americans vs Mexicans. So we won, about time I mean with soccer we win a few and lose a few, but in basketball I can see us winning more. I am hoping that I will be better next time we play since I was horrible. But I mean I haven’t played for over five months so I am going to call in on that lol. Speaking of months and all I hit my eight month mark on Wednesday. It is a huge deal in the mission since it is a one third mark of the mission. Also what happened on Wednesday our investigator Lety had her baptismal interview; she has been an investigator of the church for over ten years.. So that was a huge deal in this area, and for her and us.On Friday, we had our zone conference. I like having those we talked a lot about working with members and having their help. It is true and we do a good job here in this area since I have always liked working with members, it is just so much better if our investigators have friends from the ward. Also another positive is that we had dominos and I found one of the two pepperoni pizza, oh also I got a package at the conference, I love mail. Who doesn’t? On Sunday we had five investigators at church which is so cool. Two were friends of lety, since she always likes to help us, and she has a lot of friends that are also interested in the church, which is good. So I had a great week and I can’t believe that this week went so fast. I hope you all had a great week. Talk to you later

So this week we spent alot of time with our investigator Lety and her family. We tried to do family family home evening on Monday with Lety but she was getting her nails done so we couldn’t do it, so we moved it to Tuesday. But on Tuesday she didn’t have time to plan it so we moved it to Wednesday. On Wednesday night it was awesome we had three other investigators there and Lety actually taught the lesson. Which is way cool. Since I have been here Lety has progressed a lot I mean she has been an investigator for ten years but this week I can see the difference. Mostly since on Saturday in the night she asked when she can have here baptismal interview. And on Sunday she bared her testimony. Which was way cool to hear. I cant wait till she is baptized. Okay so also this week Elder Cope left to Jalisco. Elder Cope is my district leader he was gone for two days with all of the leaders in the mission. Which was sort of funny how all of the leaders of the mission were in Jalisco, its kinda like when the parents are gone the kids can play nah just kidding. Also the cool thing is when cope came back I got mail. Man I love that.Also on Tuesday, we lost power in our house which really sucked we didn’t have power for three days. Just because some one last month didn’t pay the bill so it was sort of fun to not have power. It was fun to try to cook dinner at night holding a flash light.So this week was just full of adventures I hope you had some fun too

So this week was awesome, i am now learning my area since i had transfers on Monday last week. So that took up a good portion of my Monday except in the night we went and did a family home evening night with our investigator Lety. Most of the members of her family are members in the church also. It was way cool, she is our most progressing investigator. Oh i dont know if i said it last week but elder fackrell is in my house again. Tuesday i went and met one of the recent converts in the Ward his name is Enrique and when we were with him one of his friends came over her name is Vieney and we talked to her. So on Wednesday i found out that elder toone who was also in my district in the mtc is in my zone. How cool is that. So on Thursday and Friday we got up and played soccer in the mornings. It was fun, the teams are the americans vs the mexicans. It is kind of funny, but we hold up good against them. Friday we went and saw Vieney and her family and we taught them i think it was cool since her friend is a recent convert and helps us talk to them about the church.On Saturday we went and saw Arturo the son of Lety, he is a less active that we are trying to bring back to the church, since his mom wants him to baptize her. So when we were with him one of his friends came over and we talked to him and he said that he would go to church with us on Sunday.Sunday church was at 12 a different time but i liked it. So we went to get Arturo to go but since him and all of his friends are in a band they didnt get home till around six in the morning. So they couldnt go. Sort of sucky but Lety still went so that was good.

So this week was full of excitement. So here we go on Monday I was suppose to have interviews with the Mission president but he couldn’t make it since we had a mission emergency in our mission so instead we left and went and played pool which was so cool, I am way lucky but I am not to bad I won one game but man I can win so much faster if you could count the cue ball, lol. So on Tuesday was my birthday which was awesome, so the customs here are a little different like here when it is your birthday you have to buy the food for the parties so I bought one ice cream pie for my district, and I bought ice cream for the party that we had with the family Ramirez. Both parties were way fun, also here a nother custom is that there Is a game with the food, they put the plate in front of your face and you have to be able to take a bite before they can shove the plate in your face, I did great the first time, and then they just shove in your face, luckily I liked the ice cream lol.So Wednesday we had interviews which was good we took a lot of time there, since also we did some study time there and we learned a little bit more about the atonement of Christ. We are now as a mission starting to read the book of Mormon again and only mark the things about the atonement. Thursday was awesome it rained here so bad, it was awesome. Also Chris Gausett went home from his mission six weeks ago and he returned a cool thing is he was with elder torres before he left so was cool for him. Friday morning reminded me so much of Washington since after the rain it was so nice you could feel the water in the air. Saturday was my other birthday party but this time was with Sister Vicky and her family we had a great bbq which is always good and a bought the ice cream. It was fun I love bbqs and this family is so awesome we have actually eaten with them like three times this week, and Sunday we were scheduled to eat lunch with them which was cool I ate some of the left over carne from yesterday still good. Lol. Also afterwards in the night I called the secretaries to ask a question and I found out also that I had changes this week. So I now am in the state of Michoacán, in Mexico. My comp is elder Obregon. I think we are going to do great together, so I noticed that I baptized two people with both my other comps. So I am thinking maybe If I keep that pattern but switch comps every week lol.

So this week was killer I forgot to say that I have actually have been out for seven months it has gone so fast it is awesome. I mean I am learning so much and I am just enjoying it here I mean this week was good and all on Tuesday I found out that I had to give a talk on Sunday about missionary work. Not to hard since I am in the mission and all and since I started to read d and c this week and that all the scriptures in the first sections are about missionary work. So on Friday we had divisions with the zone leaders and I went to there are the whole day Friday it was awesome I was with elder Martinez he is a funny kid and he is awesome we got along way well the problem was all of there plans fell thru so we knocked a lot of doors which is always good we found two new investigators and I hope the best for them in that area. Okay all the big news was that and my talk so it was only five minutes but I am the same in English and I am in Spanish don´t like talking in front of people so at parts my Spanish was not that good, not to help that I was sick this week , who would think it was possible to get a cold here, well my companion got it first and then I got it from him, but o well. Also my Spanish isn´t too hot to begin with. But I think I did good. I mean I used a lot of scriptures and I read the standard of truth which is really hard in Spanish but all is great here in mexico.Until next week.Elder heffron
