i wont lie nothing really happened this week except i noticed that i have been in mexico for 10 weeks, that i 1/10 of my mission wow. okay so i think i have changed alot here and i think all for the better, since i have lost weight and i am working on being patient so all is good,. i am so glad that i have elder gade in my house çhis example is great for me, he is an awesome missionary and always is in a good mood.

Okay so I am sorry about not writing this last week I don´t know what happened, but that´s okay because really nothing happened out of the ordinary. Okay except we found a sweet investigator well she found us on Sunday. And she has been attending church for the past two months with her boyfriend and she wants to be baptized. So we set a date for Friday so that was last week. So you want to know what missionaries do on Friday nites for fun we baptize people. Well we had her boyfriend do the baptism but it was awesome to finally get a baptism since we havent´had one in about a month in our area, and I can see that our area is now getting better since me and my companion are working great together. So Saturday was awesome also since we were able to watch the cultural event for the mexico city temple. I don´t know if any of you got to see that or the temple dedication of the temple but it was way cool to hear from the prophet again. Now some funny news I tried coconut for the first time, don´t know if tom hanks could really survive off of that for three years in cast away, since they are disgusting I think but that could be just me. Oh also just remembered since we had all those events we were slaking on contacts so I needed 70 on Sunday but luckily I was able to get 101 which is the most I have ever gotten. Okay until next week

so today i have been out for five months where has the time gone, so yesterday was zone conference which is awesome because this time we had 5 zones there which i liked because i got to see my friends. okay and also i got mail, i love mail. okay so the work here is going good alittle slow but we are now trying some things new in our mission and i am hoping that it will work out for the best, so i am sorry that this letter is so short but i only had a second. so love you all and next week will be longer

Hi
So i have now finished my first transfer here in Mexico it has been six weeks here, but i actually am still with elder silva, and no one in my district was transferred this time, only one person in my zone was transferred this week and one two weeks ago. Also today is my one-fifth mark, so that means all I have to do is this four more times. Which doesn´t seem to hard, so it is awesome here I am glad that I didn´t get transferred because I like my area and I think I will actually be here fore four to six months which is awesome it means I will get to know my members and investigators really well here. So yesterday I actually bared my testimony in church in Spanish, I thought I was going to give a talk, so I made one up in about five seconds, yea right, really my farewell talk came in my head so I was going to use that just in Spanish but in the end all I had to do was bare my testimony which to me is hard in English but I did okay, I am starting to like talking to people in Spanish which is good since no one speaks English here, well some do but it´s not that good, and that makes me think is that how I sound in Spanish, I hope not. So that is my week I hope you all had fun I am sorry if this isn´t interesting to you but to me it is.

So another week has gone by. So on Monday the 13th we had a huge storm here, so bad that we were in a members home and after we were done with the lesson we were actually stuck in their house for an extra thirty minutes. It was unbelievable here I love the rain though luckily, just not in church clothes. So this wek was awesome for us teaching one of the days we taught ten lessons total because we taught two with a member present. That was probably my bes day with elder silva. We taught great this week and I feel that my Spanish is improving. Yesterday three people(investigators and members) said that my Spanish is actually not to bad, which I wont lie made my day because I really was hoping that this day would come. Except still some people don´t understand me, but I think it´s because I am white so they just expect me not to know the language. But who really knows. So this is it for this week, nothing out of the ordinary just work, work, work. So love you all and hope you all had a good week, and have a good week this week.Elder heffronp.s. So this week was really fast actually It doesn´t feel like a week since I wrote you so it was a little different this week two days this week I had companion swap with elder peza who is one of my zone leaders so for these two days since we served in my are I was actually the senor companion now there is a lot of pressure being the senor comp, it was awesome learning from a different person, to see how they work, and he actually knows English pretty good his dad actually lives in Yakama Washington. Small world. But we only talked in Spanish all day till after ten we spoke in English. So this week when I just listen to people I found out that I understand and I know what they are saying so I just can´t wait till they can understand me. So also one day it rained here and I now understand what people mean when they say when it rains it pours. The streets turned into rivers on Saturday no joke it was so awesome it definitely made me remember Washington. So that is the huge highlights of my week. Oh yea also I have noticed there is a lot of old cars here that are so nice like I saw this beautiful seventies mustang, it is so nice but now that is my week talk to you next week.

So sorry about not posting anything last week, so this week was awesome first of all on Friday was zone conference which meant i got mail. And also it means that in six weeks I will have another zone conference so you all have six weeks to write me, I am going to have the addresses on the blog also for you to be able to write me or pouch me, but write me if you want. Okay and if you want to mail me a package there is a website that is carepackageexpress.com I think this mission has had no problems with this shipping service or just send me the stuff in a brown box with pictures of the catholic virgin Mary. Because they are superstitious here. So if you want to send me a package both work.Okay so this week was General Conference which was awesome don´t know why it was easier to pay attention, it could have been that I was in a church rather then a couch but who knows. So just think we were doing the exact same thing at the exact same time, how cool the world is so small with the church so this week has been fun basically because it all led up to Conference which was good, so I hop everyone else enjoyed it as much as me, so talk to you next week.
